Okay, since I am out here in the middle of nowhere and don't have access to any photo mod program, could one of you kind souls do me the favor of changing the color of my stock rims to bronze? I would greatly appreciate it.

:) - wanna pic of them darker?

chiefmg November-21st-2005 12:38 PM

Sure thing (what, slow day at work?!). I am looking at something like the shade Topher had on those MSP rims he had for sale a few weeks ago, if you saw that thread. If I do it I will be buying the paint from ColorRite and theirs is pretty dark.

actually, i looked @ that exact thread :) (after posting the picture and deleting file from my hd, of course)

oh, and work refuses to bump me to level iii, i refuse to do level iii *production* ;)

blah...
well, its darker... i dont know about being nicer.. haha

lost its *shine* :(

chiefmg November-21st-2005 01:14 PM

That's what I was looking for, thanks. I can shine them up in my head. Now that I see it I am not so sure I should go that route. I do like the ubiquitous gold with my red, but my gf tells me that they would clash with my silver emblems (women!). Not that it would prevent her from driving my car though!

Jackelope November-21st-2005 01:39 PM

my wife doesnt like riding in my car, much less driving it :)

hmm. paint your emblems bronze haha.

Here's another request, could you put these rims on my car? It's okay if the perspective is off some, I am just looking to see how the gunmetal would look. Thanks.

here u go

chiefmg December-6th-2005 02:13 PM

Thanks, you ARE the man! There was a set of those wheels on msprotege (16" no less in my bolt pattern), I really like them and cheap too but I think they are just too dark for my maroon paint.

Jackelope December-6th-2005 02:19 PM

i say bronze and tinted windows still :)

chiefmg December-6th-2005 02:24 PM

I think I'll end up with either gold or bronze wheels but no tint. I'm leaning towards the gold if I can find some, showing my age!

Okay, one more time. I found these on the Bay, would appreciate it if you could post them up. Thanks.
