hello everyone...i just had a quick question to ask:

i want to get more wattage power from my protege, but i dont want to get a new alter, seeing how it draws HP from the engine. i heard about respooling it (¿if i am correct?) could get more power without reducing HP. would this be cost worthy?

from what i understand you can replace it or rework it, but the ECU wont let it run more than the 80 amps it was designed for....there are several post about this subject, try doin a search
