For all those Protege's in North Carolina
 

I live in Los Angeles and was thinking of relocating to North Carolina. I don't know a hole lot about the state but want to live in a safe city that is close to Charlotte. I'm willing to spend about 250,000-300,000 on a nice 4BD house with a large yard. I need advise as to what city I should be looking into. Also, what do like about living in N. Carolina?

Well me and North Carolina aint really on good terms. BUT I am not going to bash it just yet. Charlotte is a good place to be. Greensborro and Wilmington are great too. It all depends on what you are into. To me Wilmington is a little more laid back than Charlotte, but at the the same time Charotte is a little more high class. If I had to go back to NC with a family I would pick between Charlotte and Wilmington and see which one had the better job for me. Just my 2cents


PS I didnt like anything about living in NC

Thanks for the input. I'm just burned-out of LA and looking for an easy going life. Homes in LA are around $450,000 for a small 2BD that needs a lot of work. A nice house will cost about $750,000+.
