1.8 or 2.0
 

hey i was doing some basic brain storming and i was wondering if my idea would work. im going fi real soon and i wanted to do something to equip the car to handle more boost. the no brainer is just swap internals but i cant affored internals and the install of them right now..so i was wondering if i could swap my 2.0 for the 1.8 ( fpde?? )..everything i read so far says it would the better choice. easy reving, handles boost better, and they are cheap motors i can go down to my junker and pick up a motor for 350-500 depending on miles..i can do the swap myself/w friends and ill be cool because i can get a emblem from a jetta thats says 1.8t..j/k..but really would you guys swap for the 1.8 or just stick with the 2.0 and run little boost....i have an auto and have already started purchasing the upgrades from lentech so i have the trans covered ( 5spd is not an option )..
