04 Mazda 3 SP23 Tail light problems
 

Hello everyone!

Im hoping someone can pleaaaase help me!

I have a Mazda 3 SP23 2004 model.

The back tail light recently stopped working!

My question is can I just replace the LED bulbs or do I need to buy a whole new tail light?

These are the clear tail lights not the standard orange and red.

Yup, only 5-door sp23's had the LED tail lights. For some reason Mazda didn't introduce LED tails for the sedan until 2007.

AFAIK you'll have to replace the entire unit. In theory you could disassemble it, desolder the LEDs and solder on replacements, but it's probably more work than you're looking for.
