03 Ms Pro

Went to Flat Rock last Thursday for the ride n' drive on the MS Pro. Man that car handles great and stops on a frickin' dime. NEEDS MORE LATERAL ACCELERATION!!! To me, turbo doesn't spool up quick enough and there hardly even any turbo noise. Don't get me wrong, I know Mazda designed this car for handling and braking and not for acceleration. I really hope some of the aftermarket tuners can help out a little down the road though. If that car had 200 ponys under the hood, watch out. Then it would be the best of both worlds. Give me your guys input. Maybe I'm just full of shit but I really expected a little more out of it.

You do know that lateral acceleration refers to cornering and not straight line acceleration, right?

Adding HP on turbo cars is much easier than on NA ones. Like for the VW 1.8T engines, all you need is a chip swap to get 50 more hp. :)

ACCELERATION

Sorry for the miss print concerning "lateral acceleration". I actually was refering to striaght line acceleration. Like I said, handleing and braking are superior, just needs more hp under the hood, that's all.

Unfortunately the VW engines/trannys are quite a bit beefier than what we've got to play with. Not to mention the aftermarket for V-dubs is unbelievable. I've seen stage 3 turbo kit's for the 1.8T that are around 320+whp, and cost about $3k. N I C E! :)

Here is what I want for my other car "97 VW Jetta GLS Black on Black on Black. I wish they would make this for the P5 especially at the $2,600 price tag.
