Protege5 purchase
Just a helpfull hint, if you are financing the vehicle give up the $1000 rebate and take 0% for 60 months. The difference is 18" with tires, or whatever you like thats about $1500.
If you had 5% intrest rate financing about 17,000 you would gain a $1000 rebate but lose by incurring $2500 in intrest. the only good thing is you can say, "I paid 16,1xx for mine loaded!" thats all. If you got a 9.9% loan at 60 months it would cost you $5000 in intrest and you only gain a $1000 in rebate. If you are paying cash, god bless and take the rebate, and save those loans for turbo kits and mobile video equipment! Kyle Lancaster--Double Agent Salesman |
well my credit is not good enought to get the 0.9%, but my credit union is doing 5.3% so....i'm gonna have to bite that bullet.

I called 5 different lots nd got them "fighting" each other and got that.

If you are getting 5.3% through your credit union you should be able to get 0%. and it is 0.0% not 0.9% in case your dealer is trying to get a little extra $$$$. If you cant get it there try somewhere else or get a cosigner, that dealer might just be trying to fool you. Do you know what your credit score is? if it is 700+ you are done.

He said I could have gotten the price lower but not at 0% and the 0% is what I wanted! It is PHAT as hell, I got it yesterday!!!!

If I am reading this right, JAL1639 could have gotten his FULLY loaded P5 for $14,900 had he passed up on the 0% financing. This sounds too good to be true and I think it is.
|
well my interpretation is that he got "fully"loaded '03 P5 for $15,900+ttl + 0% financing....
which seems to good to be true, becuase then w/o the 0%($1000 rebate) you should be able to get it for $14,900...?? |
RACER X: I picked my '03 P5 up a couple of weeks ago. It has sunroof/cd changer and the ABS/sideairbags options. The price: 15,600 (after $1,000 rebate and $500 college grad rebate).
Frankly, I think JA1639 is full of it. |
