Tranny Swap

Does anyone know what needs to be done to swap in a manual transmission on an automatic Protege? Cost?

lots....It might be more effective in the long run to just strip off anything you have on your car now and transfer it over to a mtx car....they are, on average, a grand or so cheaper anyway...

this has been discussed to death....its way easier to find an mtx ride...for arguements sake...you need the new tranny, the pedals, cables, ecu, harness, speedo sensor, shift forks, shifter, console(maybe not), shift boot, knob..i think that about covers it...unless you are a complete pro this is NOT to be attempted. VERY high difficulty scale on this for the do-it-yourselfer, and totally not cost effective.
