Temp Sensor
 

Question... on the Monsterflow intake (short ram) that came with my car (dealer option) the temp sensor is now located PAST the MAF instead of in front of it. Any drawbacks?? Car runs really strong, a little better since I put the K&N on instead of the MonsterFlow filter, no check light etc. Just curious if I should move it.

No real need to don, its not like the temp of the air is going to be any different on one side of the MAF than the other, I think the reason that its on the other side with other intakes is because the ORIGINAL location was in the air box....and the makers of the intakes figured....well it was on that side to begin with?....so lets keep it there just in case.....

that way they (the intake maker) didn't have to do any research or think twice about it if problems came up.

as long as your car is running fine, no engine check lights.....just keep on truckin!
