Synthetic or Not
 

I bought my wife a new 2002.5 Protege5 several weeks ago. Is it better to go synthetic in this car, or stay with regular oil? This is our first Mazda and I want to make it last. We are up for suggestions. ThankX;)

better??? well if you plan on letting your car go past the 5000k mark before an oil change than synthetic may be worth the double/triple price. Other wise the only reason i can see to get syn is for performance purposes.
