Strut bar question.

So I'm thinking of installing a strut bar in the front... whats the main advantage? Is it better to put one in the front or rear? What experiences have you guys had, who's put them in? Cornering better? Can you tell the difference? Who sells them for a good price?
Thanks.

Strut bars (STB's) improve handling by making the chassis more rigid. If you are only installing one, get one for the front, but front and rear is better. The best solution is front and rear anti-sway bars and front and rear strut bars. Yes, you should be able to tell the diffenence when cornering. There are many different makers of STB's, this is where you should do some research. there is a lot of information on these out there.

I took off the stock stru tbar to make a run to the store (wasn't worth putting back on) and i could 'tell'. The car felt 'loose-er' as in less firmly planted and confident. I put it back on!

Short Answer - yes, well worth it!

Order of Handling $/impact:
Better/wider tires
Lowering springs/struts
Strut bar (if you don't have one)
Rear sway upgrade
Front sway bar upgrade
