SRI = Nice

I recently bought an cai off ebay and decided to run it as a sri becuase Im lazy like that and dont feel like taking off the bumper.

Results are exelent. The old rumors that there is a loss of low end are completly false the low end is much nicer then stock. Asside from the car running like crap for 2 days and turning off on me I have no regrets. Its better now.

If I go all out and do a cai will it help the topend. This had almost no effect on my 1/4 mile just .5 sec now im almost in the 18's I can dream right! I found that now if I try to rev up and launch the car is slower then if I just press the gas ( I get a bit of tire spin)

That's a pretty good result for an SRI. Thanks for sharing those numbers.

NOT BAD !! With just a simple SRI ,that's only like 2-3 hp off what most 2.0L dyno at stock !!

Wow, impressive torque gain.

Its not just the sri. I also did an exhaust and a hyper ground. The first image is the exhuast and a breather filter the next is with hyperground and sri.

Now that I got the breather back on Im throwing a p0171 cel. Yeah me. Good bye breather filter.

breather filter shouldnt throw a code unless you arent plugging the hole you left in the SRI piping....the only thing that breather filter does is keep oily crankcase gas from going back into the intake tract....it doesnt make power or affect engine performance in any other way.

My thoughts are that its a vacume leak. Its air being introduced to the combustion chamber through the head, normaly its metered by the maf now its not. Ill try with out it and see how it goes.

I threw this code before though just when I put the sri on. I looked it up and its something to do with the O2 sensor bank one running lean.

possibly, but I've been running a breather filter for like 4 years with no problems yet
