Exclamation Squeak coming from clutch pedal

Im getting a squeak from the clutch pedal if I depress it slowly, it squeaks on the way up too...It works just fine, but the squeak is pretty loud and I can feel the vibration thru the pedal, and the slower I push it the more proniunced the sound and vibration are. Is this just the pedal assembly whining for some lubrication, or is it something more serious like my master cylinder's piston ??

hmmmmmm is it more of a creek then a squeek, cause mine creeks sometimes, does it come from the pedal or the clutch its self????? if its from the pedal i prolly wouldent worry bout it, if its from the clutch its self id say its the throw out bearing.

yes i guess it is more of a creak, its definitely from the pedal...I was thinking of spraying some silicone or wd 40 up there on the assembly to see if it goes away..thx!

Could be noise from the spring. I've had stuff like this before. Not sure how to stop it though, maybe try some lube on the spring and where it attaches.

That would not hurt a thing... good place to start. It's a bit unrelated, but I too have had squeaks in my car. My shifter had a slight squeak as well, and felt just a tad bit gritty to me. So, I took it apart and applied a little silicone oil on the bushings. It's like butter once again.
