Welcome.

It seems to be a common problem as the motor moves around alot due to the soft motor mounts.

There are different ways if you search the board. I solved mine by cutting off about 1/2" off the pipe that attaches to the throttle body, not the throttle body itself. Left me plenty of room by the brake cylinder.

If that doesn't work for you then search this board. Some fixed it by using various brackets.

hello Runner and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Just a few things.....just in case you are new to the net as well as our board....when you type in all caps its NETSPEAK for yelling....so please release the caplocks....not to mention its a lot easier to read when its not in all caps....

Please take the time to look around the board....we have it divided up into many sections to keep things as organized as we can....think carefully about the thread you are about to start and which section it would be most appropriate it.....this one belongs in the seciton about your ENGINE....seeing as how you are asking about intakes......not a problem.....I will just move it over there...thanks..

As for your problem....loosen the clamp on the rubber elbows and attempt to adjust the tubing so that it doesn't rub....you REALLY don't want it to rub...as it will eventually rub a hole through the tubing and they your car won't run very well.

I did the same as sir nuke. I took the second coupling and shoved the tube as far back as possible. It now clears the hose by a good 1/2 inch. It may hit sometimes, but it wont rub. You could also put some electrical tape around it if you are worried.
