hey, I'm still looking for a factory manual. I have seen a joker on ebay offering a book on CD. But it's not listed for a 2000. Does anyone know if these CD manuals are from mazda? :confused:

The man: hey, is a manual (factory) available without the binder type? The haynes manual is crap. I heard that one is available without the plastic binder. It would be a paper back. Do you have any idea where I can find this book?

Go to MAZDA and order the actual SHOP MANUAL...

Wow! I know something the man doesn't! The manual is online in .pdf format. Very handy if you ask me, so don't go killing trees, just down load it.

The one problem is that there is no online electrical diagram damn it.

The reason the URL is not showing up is because it has been banned.

If figured that had to be the reason after the third try. Why's it banded? Pretty harmless isn't it? Does The Man get cut on manual sales?

I still don't get it though. There's no registration required, and who cares what their reason is for offering it, it's free. $175 is down right out of hand for a manual. Compared to most it's a POS anyway. Really only good for torque requirements. And anybody that wants to, can search other boards and find it, so whats the point in banning it? What, or who does it serve?

I also happen to believe that having purchased a product, any product, the onwer is entitled to what ever maintenance and repair documentation goes along with it free of charge. Many manufacturer's feel the same way and readily supply parts lists and documentation with their product, or at least upon request. As an industrial engineer I down load maintenance and repair data daily for all kinds of products, so I know.

There's got to be another reason. I don't buy this "you gotta be a racer" crap. But I'll drop it now that I've pointed out that it's personal, petty and in my opinion a down right disservice to members.
