Ractive strut bar

what exactly do these do for the way your car handles? i feel like an idiot not knowing but i have NEVER had a car that i have done any kind of mods on other than stereo stuff, so if anyone can tell me what the benifits are that would be great!

the strut bar helps to stiffen the frams, so when you corner your frame doesnt twist.
