I have been thinking about getting a 4-2-1 header lately to replace my Wagner shorty. This is one of the ones that came up in my search, as well as a AWR, Vibrant and a DC Motorsports (although that one was shown as not yet available). Since I am on the far side of the world I can't crawl under my car, but it looks to me like the Racing Mazda setup replaces everything from the engine to the outlet of the second cat. The others appear to end at the inlet of the second cat. I would like to get one of that style without paying an arm and a leg. Any chance of Thunder producing one of these Gary?

One of what? Replacing the cat? No, but you can get the 1.6L four-piece exhaust that replaces the cat on the 2.0s.

What I did a poor job of asking is if Thunder might produce a 4-2-1 header. I saw one for sale a while ago on ClubProtege that supposedly came from a JDM Protege, it looked like it replaced the stock header and pre-cat, then joined into the flex pipe before the second cat. I don't know, maybe that would be too short for any real benefit, or maybe my eyes just deceived me and it was actually longer like the RacingMazda one.

Stueck, if you get this header set-up please let me know how it is (quality, fitment etc). Nothing like having someone else be a guinea pig! :yelrotflm

Oh...no, all of the headers Thunder makes are 4-1.

I call Ken Miller (protege garage.com) Kenny Mac...it's a southern thing!
