Quick intake Question
 

Where can i get a Cai for a cheap prize or do u guys know anyone that i can get a deal from.









99 mazda protege Lx 1.6

There's quite a few people who have made custom intakes for the 1.6l engine. Ben Dean being one of them, and myself. We bought new air boxes from the dealership (a steep $70 for it though). When I get off my lazy ass i'll take pictures of mine when it's done. Using the stock tube from the tb to the maf, then a 2.5" inside diameter pipe with a cone filter will complete the custom intake. Ben's got some picture up I think on www.protege00.com There's also the injen cai which is around $240 still I believe. Some people had problems with it, and other haven't.
