Question about shifter bushings

OK, so I just installed my Kartboy SS and Bushings. Man I love it! Here is my stupid question. There is a rubber mount/bushing on the far side of the shifter from the motor. It's right under the floor between the 2 front seats. To me, it seams like it's the weak link in the shiter now. It's a cheap rubber piece, shaped like half of a capital H. The rest of the play in the shifter is coming from this part. I only have 15k miles on my car and the rubber is already starting to crack . Is there anyone that makes this in Polyurethane?

dont worry about the cracking, thats just undercoating thats cracking. HOWEVER were in the process of testing that exact part :)

stay tuned

If I can just stick in my 2 cents into your R and D on this, I was appalled to see that Mazda had deiced to go with a pin to hold that part in. when I put my Kartboy SS in, that stupid pin was 3/4 of the way out, much longer and i would have had my shifter sitting on my exhaust shield. you think you can come up with a better way of holding it in? and what's the ETA on the production of this bushing?
thanks guys!
