I can only tell you that you've got the NGK standard and NGK standard extended correct.
Dunno on the others. |
I was told by Mazda parts and service that I can only use nkg spark plugs in my car ...a Mazda protege LX 2003 2.0L.
Is that true, what if I buy the bosh? And is it ok to use the $5.99 bosh plugs (with the 4 prongs that suppossedly do not have to be gapped). Discount Auto said I could use the bosh in my car and that the $5.99 are the better than the cheaper bosh plugs and that I don't have to gap them. Is it true the 4 prongs by bosh do not have to be gapped? Which is the way to go? :) |
I tried BOSH , SPLITIFIRE , and NGK IRDIUM and NGK V-groove is still the best.
I tried BOSH , SPLITIFIRE , and NGK IRDIUM over the years I had my car and NGK V-groove is still the best.
BOSH, SPLITIFIRE very bad gas mileage, weird idle and easily carbon -up. Our cars seem to only like stock like sparkplugs. I am now experimenting with extended tip. |
Ive used BOSCHE in my car its a 92 DX but i would think that it would be the same for most other proteges, ive never heard of only being able to use one type of spark plug before... :- \ wierd..

goldstar is correct, don't waste your money on platinum or iridium plugs, they do nothing and can cause more harm than good. Stick to the NGK copper.
