ODB2 / ODBII LED Light controller?

Hello everyone,

This is my first post.

I am wondering if anyone knows what other info one could get from the ODB2 port. Info like if the dome light is on or not. If the front collision warning is activated. If the lane departure is telling the driver they are leaving the road. If and which turn signal is on, or if the blind spot sensor is detecting a car in the blind spot, etc. I'm only looking for read only data. I don't need to write.

I see smartphone apps out there that can read and display the current oil temp, RPM, speed, etc. and they pull that from the ODB2 port so my idea might be possible.

The background behind the question is that I would like to install / build a similar product to EL Wire or RGBWWIC light strip on the interior of the car, but have the light colour or flash be controlled by the ODB2 port / controller. i.e, when the dome light is on, the EL wire / LED strip would be white. If the front collision warning or rear cross traffic warring is triggered the appropriate side of the car will light up RED and flash.

A smart phone app could assign the light sequence to the trigger from the ODB2 port, and the rest of the time the app could be used to toggle the ambient light, or even to trigger a light sequence when Siri / Google assistant is in use.

Potentially others could set the app to work in a similar way to a RPM / Shift light when in manual mode too.

Anyway, just wondering if that type of info is available on the ODB2 port.

Thanks.
