new performance mod for p5 or any car......???
i came across this computer for the p5 that can modify the fuel /air ratio and bump hp up to 20 hp.. i emailed the company and they said they've noted and would expect an increase of 8- 9 hp.. check the link out.. i would like to know if anybody has used this .. it is super cheap at 40 american for the stage one and 80 for the stage two.. increase hp and torque.. seems to inexpensive to be true.. is said to compete with the jet v chip and others, but at way less cost.. a friend of mine says this would void warranty, but if the ecu was reset it would erase fuel/air change history... the dealer would also be suspicious if it was reset.. but theoretically, if i pull the battery out and let it sit (for the winter) the ecu would reset anyway, wouldn't it? maybe this would get around the warranty void problem.. any comments.. mybe its bs, but worth a look at..
www.nextlevelracing.com i originally seen it on ebay, then went the website of the manufacturer and email a few times back and forth with a rep from the company.. opionions welcome.. seems to good and cheap to be true. |
Quit multi-posting! Like I said in your other identical thread, it's total bullshit. It's the same resistor some people sell on eBay for 5 bucks. This one comes with a $35 box.

Now where's that flag.... Ah, here it is!
:bsflag: |
There is a Japanese guy in Toronto that does customized ECU for about $500-$1000. I was told by some folks at toprotege.com that he can do different settings (e.g. racing, cruising, shopping, etc.) that can be controlled by flick of a switch. That sounds like a more reliable solution.
