More Wagner Parts
Hey, folks -
I'm getting to that restless point again, where I NEED to invest in some additional mods. Around Christmas, there could be extra cash for it. My question has been, "where to go from here"? Well, I thought about cams. But, I think I'll wait on that one until I can get the information I need to make an educated decision (lift/ duration, etc). And, a larger TB is a waste of time without expensive porting to the intake and a suitable (larger) MAF. Anyhow, the last thing I did was bolt up a Wagner shorty header, and it was/ is awesome. I'm thinking that the best bang for my buck for the next round of mods would be: 1) Wagner catless downpipe (no emissions testing in MI for 2006 and beyond!) 2) Wagner midpipe w/ high flow cat Anybody tried these two yet? How were the results? What do you guys think - should I go for it? |
go for it! tell me how it is, im interested in it now.

Hey juddz, did you put on the header your self, I am looking at buying one myself.
I have a RB axel back comeing also. Did you notice any low in torq loss? More MORE I NEED MORE!!!! :bounce: |
Wagner is making me a midpipe with resonator instead of catalytic convertor as we speak. I'll get pictures and details for you guys when I get it.

Thanks, Matty. I can't wait to hear how it turns out for you.
And, hughes412, I did put the header in myself. It was easy enough to do over a morning cup of coffee (literally). Just don't forget the anti-sieze, and remember to use a little WD-40 to loosen up the stock bolts. I did not notice any torque loss; if anything, the car feels faster to me all around, but especially in the lower rpm's. That leads me to believe that there was a torque gain. |
Well I guess I know what Im buying this week!
