MIL eliminator

How do I make a MIL eliminator. Need one for the second O2 sensor. (header install)

nando2323 December-14th-2004 02:51 PM

use the search tool or order one from http://www.ponyexpressperformance.co...liminator.html

or you can purchase one rather inexpensively from "Vielster"...he's made several for me and they work/look flawlessly.

He's selling black tape again? :laugh2:

I actually need an eliminator, but oh well...I just ignore that yellow light in the bottom left-hand corner of the gauges!

... so I take it you are no longer cruising around town with a check engine light on?

Roddimus Prime December-14th-2004 04:37 PM

no way....I was dying with the CEL.....my gas mileage was SHIT when it was on. I put the MIL in from Vielster and reset my ecu and not only has the light gone away I've gotten another 80-100miles per tank!

PM sent to Vielster...

FC3s Boy December-14th-2004 07:40 PM

i've used the vielster ones and they work great

nando - Used the search tool... the instructions aren't on this site.

everyone else: Thanks for the info, but I don't want to order one. I want to make one. It's much cheaper, and I don't have to wait for shipping or depend on the shipping company to get it to the right address. If someone could please copy/paste Acid's how-to from www.msprotege.com, that would be great. ( I would check it myself, but I don't have access to that site anymore... and no, I wasn't banned.)

Link to the how to!
