mazdaspeed exhaust

Hey, I'm looking at puting the mazdaspeed exhaust on my '03 P5, anyone else have that? how's it sound? Is it a Cat-back, or axle-back exhaust. I found it on mazdastuff.com for $195. Does anyone know where I could possibly get it as little cheaper? Thanks for any help you can provide.

do a search please, there are many people with many proteges that have this muffler installed (mine included).

mazdastuff is a good site to buy this muffler.

I've seen somewhere on the here someone had sounds clips, but I'm not sure where I'm seen it. Use the seach feature. The Mazdaspeed exhust is only the muffler from mazdaparts.com. Check out Racing Beat, when I get the cash, I'll buy it. They designed the exhust on the MP3 (I think), plus it's a catback now. Others here will tell you to get custom pipes, personal preference, I'd rather have mine designed for the car from pros.

Its not an exaust, $195 gets you a muffler made by racing beat. Get the whole cat-back for $450.

wrong, it's a muffler made for Mazdaspeed (there's a Mazdaspeed etching on the tip) by BOSAL.

it's made in South Africa!!!! :D

nothing to do w/ Racing Beat, which I think is the best exhaust system upgrade for the 3rd gen Protege right now :)

I have an '03 P5. After looking around I think I'm just gonna save some more money and get the Racing Beat Cat-Back exhaust. That seems to be one the best out there.

That really sucks. I think I'd defenitly report to insurance since it wasn't your fault. Never know what the guy will do.
