Installed B&M SS etc.

Well, I got the shifter last wednesday a few days before I took a roadtrip. Couldn't wait to put it on, took about 1.5 hours to get it in.

One word of advice, lube the f*ck out of the O rings! Also lube the housing where the shifter housing slides in. I almost screwed up one of the o rings by stretching it when i put it in.

The shifter was stiff at first, but after reading all the posts about that I decided to let it be for the first while.

2000Kms later (~1200 miles) the shifter feels awesome. The throw reduction is great, and it's loosend up very nicely. Going to switch over to mt-90 probably by the end of summer.

Bought an mx-3 strut tower bar a couple weeks ago, took about 2 hours to modify/install it. Handles well, a small but noticable difference.

Sparco race shift knob / reflex pedals were purchased on my trip to Iowa, installed the shift knob in the hotel parking lot :D
girlfriend wasn't too impressed:p

the knob feels great, increased vibration a little, cold on the hands but I wear gloves. Gotta think of a way to make the boot look nice though I'll get to it when I get some rest.

Pedals go in tomorrow night. Well, that's all for now folks, I'm hoping to get an eibach pro kit in by next month, ciao!

I bought a Momo performance boot for use with a Momo knob and it looks great. Very nice and thick leather. Momo makes universal boots too, that don't screw onto the bottom of the knob. check out www.ltbmotorsports.com I got mine in a little over 24 hours...

I use a momo knob/boot combination also. It's very nice, but I had to trim the boot to get it to fit correctly.

yeah forgot about that. The boot is about as long as the stock one, and needs at least the holes cut into it to fit the boot clamp thing under the console. I havn't trimmed mine yet, but will once I get a new TWM SS shifter...
