Injen Filter vs K&N Filter

Hi,

I'm just about to buy a Injen air intake system. What i wanted to know is how does the Injen filter that comes with the system compare to a K&N filter. Is the K&N better, should i replace the injen filter with the K&N filter. Will the K&N wok well with the rest of the Injen system or is the injen just a good as the K&N.

Thanks
TDK

good question. if you already have a K&N filter that will fit, I would throw it on there. If not, just use the injen filter.

i could be wrong... but i think the injen filter is a k&n Filter..... when i installed the intake i had both the k&n and the injen filter there... they seem like the same filter. but the internals could have been diff.

One of the local shops said that as well. That injen uses a K&N filter for there pipe. That's why I never bought injen, I'm giong with a cheper short ram and replacing the filter with K&N. The difference in power btw a short ram and a full CAI isn't enough to justify the huge difference in price.
