The main problem I think people where having with the Injen intake is that they where trying to fit a 1.6L intake on a 1.8L or 2.0L which doesnt work. Thats why Injen doesnt sell an intake for the 1.8L or 2.0L engines (well, until the 2.0L ships next week). So thats been one problem (and the major one!) The other problem in my opinion is improper installation. The MAF has to go on there tight & perfect or it wont read correctly which can cause problems. Also, one of the reasons to switch to a CAI is get more air. More air means more dirt. So another problem people have is a dirty MAF. You should go in and carefully clean your MAF with q-tips & alcohol. You'll find it to be very dirty. Those are my views on the intake. I know people that have had the intake with no problems. And the people that have stated problems all got rid of it before they could figure anything out & now they just badmouth it.

Actually, several people reported problems on the 1.6L engine. Not too many people bought the intake for the 1.8L or 2.0L engines because you had to cut it up to get it to fit. What's the point of that when other intakes were available, or coming soon? However, someone ( I forget who) contacted Injen about the problems and they were perfectly happy to work with everyone to resolve them. When the person that contacted Injen asked for people's information to send to Injen, only a couple of people responded. This leads me to believe that some of the people reporting problems either resolved them, or weren't confident that they didn't cause them in the first place.
