inexpensive Haltech E6K's

Hey guys, I just found a couple new Haltech E6K's on ebay. The seller is only asking $1150 buy it now for them with software. I don't have the money right now but thought there might be someone here that was interested. Just go to www.ebay.com and enter 'haltech' in the search box. It will take you right to them.

I paid 800 for my E6K but thats only because i had a hook up. 1150 is a very good price for this unit. I've coaxed about 170 thru 180 hp out of my FS-DE with the E6K. This of coarse is with higher compression pistons and J-spec cams. The E6K has lot of tuning potential, i have no regrets on purchasing it. Now i need to find someone who can properly tune it because the tech who set it up for me did not have much knowledge with the E6K. My car still runs very hard though.

I have a freind who tunes that stuff as a living pretty much, in Houston of course.

I'd certainly like to have your setup, time = money, and its just a matter of time :)

installation

boostedmp5: How easy was it to install? I tired to get information off the website, but what type of equipment do you need? (laptop?)

Thanks.
