lol well not really imagine. um OK I've had a 1999 protege Es for 2 years now and once i told my friend i was going to mod it he bought a 2000 Es to out do mine :asshole: . lol OK money isn't really a problem for him this is his 4th car he has a 1997 supra, an evo, and a escalade now a protege. he wants to know what all can be done to the 1.8 liter no matter how much it cost. maybe you guys could help him out. lol my question is what kind of exhaust is best. i was thinking about going to a muffler shop and getting them to put a muffler on 2.25-2.5 piping but what muffler is best. i don't want a rice buzzing sound i want a deep sound. what kind of intake should i get. i know everyone will say ebay and yes i think I'll go with an ebay intake, but should i get a SRI or a CAI. I'm worried about the water issue with the CAI. I'm getting an evo style hood for my car so would the SRI be a good idea? what if it rains? lol sorry for being such a noob

thanks in advance

AEM makes a bypass valve for their intakes that will bypass the CAI if it is submerged preventing chances of hydro lock.
