Idle speed

Does anyone know of a way to raise the idle speed about 200 rpm? I've got AWR mounts and if I could keep the warm idle up a little, it would sure be an improvement. I know I should spend some time looking at the shop manual BEFORE I ask, but I hoped someone might have a quick answer. I wish it was simple like on my daughter's '91 Miata!

Thanks in advance.

It is simple, just adjust the screw on the side of the TB.

I must not have looked hard enough, I didn't thinkw P5s had an idle air control screw.

i don't think they do either.

The throttle cable has a 'adjustment' to it to rig it. This might work. Be mindful - the higher idle *may* cause other problems - hard to shut off ('dieseling') and the computer trying to compensate. I would at least re-set the computer.

OK. I understand your suggestion. I'll try that, but I'll bet the computer will "fix" the too high idle. It's worth a try though. Thanks.
