High Compression Pistons
I was on the Mazda Motorsports page and noticed that they sell the Pistons for $29.05 part #: FPY2-11-SBXB. I am assuming that is per piston and does include the wrist pin, however it denotes it as a set on the page. That would be about $120 for the set. Corksport sells them for $180. Sroll down about 5 parts and they sell another piston set for $1050 (part #: 0000-01-3201). I am assuming these are the same pistons as it says that they aer both from the FS-ZE. What the hell is going on. I am gonna order the set if its only $30...even if I don't install them for a year that is an awesome price and they're pretty. Corksport sells another piston set from MazdaSpeed for $120 but there is not information about them....Corksports site sucks....not enough information about their products....

The 1050 buck pistons you refer to are not FS-ZE pistons...they are the custom forged pistons used in teh Speevision worldchallange Protege with a 12.5:1 compression.

the "set" refered to on the mazdamotorsports site is a set of piston, rings, pin, etc. to change one piston as i believe it says four sets are required. you would need to buy four "sets" to do your whole engine.

They should say that they are from the Speed Vision cars. The "SPEED" channel sucks....I like it better when they were Speed Vision....it's all NASCAR now!!!!
