yeah, they can read it, but honestly , most of the people that work there dont know what they mean.. if they see cylinder 2 misfire, they are gonna prolly say, needs spark plug and wires.. they are not gonna think coil pack..

My experiences with the INJEN CAI for my 2.0 is the same, and on the dyno you will notice that running on the CAI you will take a low end RPM performance hit, but when you get on that baby from 2000 RPM and up its screaming all the way to hell. :)
