Madaza Protege 5 level 2 400HP axles
New from the Driveshaft Shop, The protégé 5 level 2 axles are here. Starting with a 30% larger center made from 4340 chrome moly that is 4 times stronger than the very small factory axle, then we have used carefully chosen factory 4130 chrome moly parts that are not only bigger in size but have been re-he treated, tempered and de-stressed.We then use synthetic grease, higer durometer boots to top it off. What this means to you is the axles will handle just about anything you might put to them. these have been made in in a limited quantity so please understand this was an initial run to see if this will be a standard part for us.
Our Price: $599.99

hmm why not just use MSP axles. They are stronger anyway and probably much cheaper than $600.

Also, axles haven't really been a problem in ANY protege. I would think unless you were making a ton of torque, using slicks and drag launching you wouldn't need anything like this.

I did, however, use this company for axles on my 100hp shot SHO with drag radials and they worked very well. No problems ever. They make a good product but I could think of better ways to spend $600 on a protege.

I just found it and didn't know if there were any problems with the axles. i'm fairly new to proteges.

yeah, there's no real need to upgrade them unless you're getting SERIOUS about modding. Also the MSP units could probably be found used for much less and they're pretty strong as well.
