Is the Greddy Evo the quietest exhaust for the Protege5?
 

I just erased all that I had typed out, so I'll keep it simple. I just chased down a guy with a Greddy system on his Protege 5 and the thing is, I couldn't even hear it with my widows down as I was behind him! That's what I want, something quiet.

but I'd like something quiet like the Greddy. Is that as quiet as exhaust systems for the Protege 5 get?

He said he had problems with exhaust fitment after lowering his car, but it looked really nice, a little bulky, but nice.

actually...when I put on an aftermarket exhaust I didn't really want quiet...I didn't want a can of pissed off bees....and I really didn't want LOUD either as most of the driving I do is at highway speeds.....I got the Bosal....its nice and throaty....and doesn't start to get where you really hear it in the cabin till about 80. IF you found something that meets your needs and is quiet....go for it. I don't know of any system personally that is quiet...except the stock one.

well I HAVE to get up from time to time to go to the little boys room.....

and my family prefers if I eat at the dinner table with them....imagine that....course I do eat here when I am in playing and they aren't home! lol

i use the evo on my 98 prelude. its a beautiful system, and the tone is very clean. not sure on the protege motor, but probably
pretty similar tone. fitment on my car was perfect.

pro5 wise, i use mazdaspeed axle back i got from my dealer.
