fs-de intake manifold

please forgive my noobiness but i have searched to no avail
perhaps i used the wrong words but ...

we have figured out how to get the vcis working in our mx-6's and probes but i'm having trouble locating the im and fuel rail

if i understand correctly, it is only the 3rd gen protege that has the fs-de. is this right? what years, and was the fs-de an option or do they all have them?

if i'm totally wrong, would one of you list the rides that do have the de please.

also, what is the marking on the engine that signifies it as such

thanks, and i read somewhere on here and agree, you guys do have some cool smilies

FS-DE motors are only in Protege5s, MP3s, Mazdaspeed Proteges, and the newer Proteges... the probe motors are FS-02 If Im correct... oh and the MP3 does NOT have VICS enabled.

cool, thanks

we had a thread about wheather it was fs02 or fs03
i don't think we ever came to a conclusion
most places refer to it as simply an fs, then fs-de and fs-ze

any clues on the best place to find an im with vcis

and thanks for the faq link. i'd seen it before but lost it
