First time at the drag strip
 

i went to the race track today and did a couple runs. Unfortunately it was only 1/8 mile..but it was better than nuttin. The first run i raced against a dodge intrepid and i won. my time was 11.117 at 64.18 mph. My second run was against a geo metro and i lost. dont laugh yet..i lost because broke out(went faster than the time i dialed in) i did go faster than the geo tho :p well my second run i got a 10.8 second time (dialed in 11.00) and at the same mph as the first run 64.18mph. Just wondering if any of u guys went to the track lately..i wanna know how this compare to other proteges. my car is a 03 protege es with the 2.0 motor

lol. at first I thought you said 11 second quarter mile. HEHE! Then I saw 64mph. That didn't add up :p Sorry all I know is I'm slow. And I'm not a 2.0 owner. But good improvment on your time though! :)

Sounds like my times...my best was 10.7@64mph (stock) and I also have the 2.0l.
