Engine Swapping

Is it possible to use an engine from another car such as the Integra Type R / RSX-s ? I mean , how much of a modification are we looking at here? Changing the ECu + fuel system + tranny ? Custom mounts and such?

I think there is a better way to get 200 hp. Although it would be intresting .

anyone consider the jdm type s h22a (220hp stock)...as i look at my engine clearance there are tons of room available...plus there are emissions legal s/c and turbo kits for the h22a engines...the pr5 is a more than capable chassis to handle that engine

But seriously. That would not be too far from what we would all desire out of a daily FWD driven car.

The power, reliability, and aftermarket surplus of the Honda. With the Mazda chasis/handling engineering along with the styling. That would be kinda cool in my book. Plus make it street legal. if motor is from a following year.

Shit I would do that if the P5 was like 6 years old. Pick one up for like 6000.00/ Drop like 6000 more and oh shit. That would be one hell of a car.

But still, blasphemous. It's like dropping a V8 into a RX7. We go through that all the time.
