engine swap

Id like to know if I could swap out a 1.6 liter Pro engine for a 2.0 liter engine from a Protege ES model? Is it difficult to do, if its been done? Can someone help me out with this?

It's possible, but you have to swap out a LOT of parts. IMHO it's not economical compared to trading the entire car for a 2.0L model unless you can get a REALLY smokin' deal on the parts (like an entire parts car with an intact front end for $400).

As for the exact list of parts that must be changed, run a search. This has been covered many times before. :bt:
