engine differences?

i was looking on nopi.com and noticed that they have different things for for 2001 protege and the 2002 protege and also for the 2002 protege 5. im really interested in what is the difference in the exaust area? i want a set of headers for my protege 5 and i want to know if the hp racing set will work on my car even though they have it listed for the 2001 protete 2.0 ( same as my engine, right?) please help!

The cars are different lengths so the exhausts are slightly different. I think it's just the rear section though. Mazda sells a sport muffler that is a larger diameter pipe and sportier muffler for both cars. There are different part numbers for the ES/MP3/LX and the P5. The tips are shorter and the pipe length is slightly shorter on the P5.

I think everyone wants to know something about the headers, but they aren't available yet and there aren't any specs. If they fit the P5 though, they will also fit the rest of the Pro family.
