Drop a MSPD Protege drivetrain into a "regular" 2.0 ES?

Anyone know of anyone who has attempted this? I was thinking about putting in a BEGI turbo (reliability as a daily driver though?), or buying a MSPD turbo kit (complicated to install?), and then thought "There's got to be a totalled MSPD Protege out there somewhere with a clean drivetrain".

What bits/pieces of the drivetrain are unique to the MSPD Protege (i.e. which parts would I need to be certain to get from the donor vehicle)?

i'm trying to do this right now....it's a simple bolt-in procedure....just have to find the wrecked car first!

the pieces you'll want are (at least) the differential and axles. I would try to scrounge out a whole case, axles, clutch and flywheel.

It might be a little bit more pricey, but if you can just get an entire front clip (the car get's cut in half right at the bottom of the A-pillars) that way you have everything you need, every bolt, washer and wire.

p.s. there is no such thing as a "MSPD"....it's just MSP!
