Clutch engagement height.

I have always found the engagement height on my clutch to be a little too high on my 2002 Protege5. So this weekend I decided to try to adjust the height. I loosened a retaining nut at the top of the clutch pedal and turned the piece that goes into the firewall so that it seemed to push in a little furter into the firewall when I pressed down on the clutch. This seemed to do nothing exept make th clutch feel a little harder to press down (which is good). Sooooooooo, Does anyonne know how to adjust the engagemnt height on the clutch?

Excuse the dumb question but, how exactly do I bleed the clutch. Do you mean the fluid? How do I do this? Thanks for the reply.

but jes.....if all he is doing is adjusting the push rod going to the clutch mastercylinder....he won't need to bleed the hydraulics....not unless he breaks into them...or has the suspession that there is air in the lines.
