can someone explain cat back exhausts to me?
My car is a 1.6l but it's a hatchback (likr the P5) so I don't think anyone in the US makes catback exhausts for my car, can anyone explain to me what it consists of or perhaps show me a link?
That way I could explain what it is to a local shop and have them make me a custom one. is it hard to make one? |

The thing is that my country's language is spanish, the first time I heard about cat back exhaust was in this forums and I don't know what it's called in spanish, so I have to explain to the guy what I want, then he will probably tell me what a cat back exhaust is called in spanish and we'll take it from there.

ok, i'll bite on this since it's not in "The FAQ!" (yes Edwin, I looked and didn't see anything saying what the Allegro had in it) The Allegro down there is a hatch, with a 1.6. Is it the ZM-DE? Maybe give us an engine picture?

It says, and I quote(and translate :D ):"Mazda, ZM series. 4 inline cylinders, 16 valve". it's also DOHC.

Catalytic convertor back exhaust pipe.
English translation is catback exhaust. To this El tubo catalítica del escape de la espalda de convertor. La traducción inglesa es el escape de catback. That sound good??? |
-not bad kosmicride.
so it's basically replacing the exhaust pipes after the catalitic convertor with ones of larger diameter? |
Since we are at this, what is the best size pipe for the Protege5. 2.0L engine, North American version of the car?
