Best location for grounding wires
 
Well i am lookin' at making up my own set of wire's i just wonder where the best places are to run the wire's.

I got a 99 Protege SE with the 1.6

The best place to run your grounds are :
1. intake manifold
2. engine block
3. transmission
4. headlight assym. mounting bolt
5. alternator mount bolt
6. body panel ( remove paint or it won't ground )

All of these must run to your negative battery terminal. I would try to find the largest, yet most flexable cable I could use ( ie. stereo power cables) You should see a few HP/ TRQ gains, but mainly a more consistant power flow. I notice a little more pep in my MSP but my headlights do not surge anymore:D

Dont forget your strut towers, they have lots of sensors mounted to them that like grounding...

car ran smoother, no big power gains....
