awr motor mounts in and out

damn i installed the mounts last night and today. What a painn. That rear mount is oure hell. Dont try it youll probly jack it all up like i did. Took out the rear mount after all that cuz it made my car sound like a lawn mower inside. If you dont want wicked vibrations leave it alone. The front one though is usefull. takes away the jerky first gear

from what i hear the vibration will get better once you get a few miles on it. one of my friends has them on his msp and its not bad at all, well for me atleast. yeah the front mount helps alot.

do you know anything about the ruber coated washer on the drivers side of that rear mount?>

sounds like you guys need to get what we call 'friends in low places'.

i work at a dealership: i bet $1000 i could get BOTH mounts bolted in within 2 hours. first time.

having a lift, engine supporting hoist and 3 pole jacks makes a WORLD of difference!

good luck Don.....you'll break every record even for mazda techs.

DonSVO September-6th-2004 07:37 PM

well, matt, i am not a mazda tech. im a lincoln/ford tech!!! :D :D :D

we will see in about 4 days, i am going to use a digi-cam while i do the swap. :)

without dropping the block. and try getting off the wire harness bracket its inside the mount area. youll se what i mean, but i wanna see how ya do it. BTW dont strip out the mount to block bolts. I was so fucking mad i just drove them in no matter how misthreaded they were, thank goodness for strong impact
