Anyone have stock dyno numbers?
I recently went to a dyno with my stock 1998 626 2.0 that has a modified computer program. I made 107.2HP and 117.2tq on my first run. Would the 93-97 2.0's be similar enough to obtain a drivetrain loss number percentage from? I'm just trying to figure my performance gain via the stock flywheel rating (125) divided by a stock wheel number.

I have an 02 P5 w/the 2.0l engine rated 130 at the flywheel. I made 102hp and 114tq stock.

Big difference between the flywheel and wheel.
My last car was german, when they write 180 HP you really have 180 HP. I am quite angry to see such number and I now understand why my old beat up 1989 golf 8V destroyed any P5. With 100 hp and 105 Trq and a curb weigh of 800kg it was an easy thing to do. Anyway, I crashed the car in a snow storm this winter so I must live with that fact for the next 48 months:( with my slow protege lx. |
