Another Motor Mount bites the dust

Well,

I'm on my 3rd Motor Mount on my 2000 ES (1.8L)- just at 80,000 miles. I do autocross a lot, so that probably speeds the process. I had my first set replaced at 48,000 Miles (under warrenty). I just replaced my #3 mount the other day- and it was all torn out. I'm not sure of the shape of the other mounts, but I'm guessing they are on their way out too.
Just wanted to warn you guys, if you are approaching the end of your warrenty, have your motor mounts checked out as they are farily expensive if you have to buy the whole set and install them. The first warning I got was my Differential falling apart on me at an autocross ($2000 worth of damage). It wasn't till a few months later (and after I paid the damage on the tranny) that I realized it was due to worn out motormounts which caused the transmission problem.

Couldn't this problem be resolved if you were to use urethane motor mounts instead of rubber mounts?

Unfortunately- can't stay in Stock or Street Touring Classes (for SCCA racing) with urathane motormounts.

I didn't even think about that. Very good point.

Can you fill the motor mounts with windsheild urathane ,its still some what flexible . I think this would allow the mounts to last longer . By the wat I have a set of front and rear mount that i replaced . they only have about 12000 miles on them .

I was looking into the those urethane motor mounts and I talked to a guy and he said it wasnt worth it. Since the these motor mounts help keep the engine from shaking or jumping.. it causes that shake to go through the rest of the car.. is that true?
