AEM vs. Ingen

I'll soon be gettin my new 03 Pro5 and was looking around at air intakes, the 2 i found that appeal to me are the AEM Short Ram and the Injen cold air intake....
I was wondering which produces more power, i have a feeling the AEM is not a good because its not cold air induction, but it sucks right from the engine bay, while the Injen routs the filter farther from the engine, any opinons or suggesitons for other brands?

thanks

CAI better performance. risk of hydrolock.
Short ram less performace. no risk of hydrolock.

the amount of diffrence in air temp that YOUR engine is turely going to see while its moving is so minimal that you won't be albe to tell the difference between the two intakes as far as performance goes.....if you were sitting still for a long period and heat built up in the engine compartment there would be a slight difference...but that goes away once the car is moving and there is a good constant air flow......

Personally, I have the Injen....if for no other reason...that is performs just as well as the others....but it does look better...at least in MY opinion....

As for the "chance" of hydrolocking your engine? well...if you are the type of person that would drive your car in a foot or more of standing water, then it might happen........but then again.....you would have to be nuts or at least have used very poor judgment to subject your car to that kind of abuse.

Any chance of hydrolock is too much IMO.

Like I said....if you are the type of person that would drive your car off into a foot or more of water....you might want to consider a different type of intake......
