AEM looking for an Automatic 2.0 01 and up
 
AEM is looking for a 01 or 02 Mazda Protege 2.0L Automatic with an AEM intake (that has a fitment problem) We are in California, about 5 miles from LAX Airport, if you are local.... E-mail us at Tech@aempower.com Thank you!!

there is no 2.0 L for the 2000 model year. It was a 1.8L or 1.6L

LoL! I think he knows that...check out the email address he wants people to reply to.

Looks like they are trying to remedy any problems people are having fitting the AEM intake into the automatic.

Good job coming here to look for people AEM! :D

2000 Proteges do not have the 2.0L engine. They have the 1.8L engine which is the engine the intake was designed for (part #22-480). The Proteges that have the fitting problem are the 2001-2002 Proteges with the 2.0L engine and auto tranny.
