2.0L Motor Mount Troubles?
 
I tore up my front motor mount, just noticed it last week. The inards completely disconnected form the outards so to speak. A buddy loaned me his OEM one since he has Tony's urethane parts in his P5. It lasted a week. Close inspection shows the rear one on my car is torn in two places. Other than going to the AWR pieces which I really do not want to do, any thoughts, home remedies (Window Weld?), are the MSP pieces beefier? Etc?

only the side msp mount is SUPPOSEDLY stronger. I have a prototype Cork sport front mount INSERT. It's basically a 2-piece polyeurathane mold that fills in all of the open gaps on the stock mount. It works very well but makes riding witht he AC unbearable (IMO)

Honestly, after installing a "race" motor mount I would suggest the AWR automatic front mount. For the price and durability it's a sure thing.

That's what I've done Roddimus, I put an AWR front mount in (the A/T version actually). That's when I noticed I had trashed my friend's OEM front mount in one week of normal driving. If I replace the rear (#1?) mount with another OEM will I be OK, or am I gonna be forced to do the rear with AWR too? I already hate the front one, but I'm sure it's much stouter than the probably more expen$ive Mazda part. I auto-x, but no drag racing whatsoever. Whaddaya think?
